James is an IT professional and was previously working with an international telecommunications company before returning to higher education to pursue a bachelor degree in Digital Film and Television Production. He completed his degree in June 2007, specializing in Digital Post Production, with emphasis on editing. He recently contracted as a freelance Editor at TED’s Post-Production in Hollywood, where he performed mostly duplication services utilizing multiple Beta and BetaSP decks, working from a BlackMagic card.
James' education allowed him substantial hands-on opportunities in learning the different aspects of production including camera operation, lighting, sound recording and writing.
