Runner-Up, Best New Talent Awards BBC, 2007. Written and Directed by Fiona Cairns, BATHTIME is the story of a typical Glasgow "workie" who secretly enjoys his wife's bath bombs after accidentally knocking one in the tub. His secret almost costs him his relationship.

We made the film on a cash budget of the equivalent of $5000 US Dollars. This did not include the cost of equipment obtained from the Academy. Cameras, Lights, DV tapes, Costumes and such, which would have increased the cost of the film to about $7500. I managed to bring the film in under budget and secured a working construction site against all odds. A re-write was suggested to get around the obvious insurance and health and safety concerns of the business owners. I had a few companies laugh hysterically when I asked them for permission to allow our film crew and talent on their sites. My tenacity and appeal to CBC Construction for support was rewarded. I was glad to see the supervisor at our screening in June.

This same appeal to local Agents resulted in our being able to obtain very talented performers at a very low cost as well.
