Special Education · Assistive Technology · Immersive Learning
I’m a special education teacher, curriculum designer, and Ed.D. whose work sits at the intersection of assistive technology, teacher preparation, and learning innovation. I’m especially interested in how we prepare educators to use tools like AAC, learning apps, and immersive media so that students with disabilities get the access and agency they deserve.
This portfolio gathers projects, research, and resources from my work in K–12 special education, university partnerships, and professional development. Whether you’re a teacher, program leader, or designer, my goal is to share ideas you can adapt, test, and build on in your own context.

Featured Classroom Project - Roybal Codes
A student-led coding project I facilitated with high school students with moderate-to-severe autism in LAUSD.
We used block-based programming and collaborative storytelling to build confidence, communication, and problem-solving while integrating IEP goals into authentic tech tasks.
