Assistive Technology & Teacher Preparation
This section highlights my research and applied work on preparing educators to integrate assistive technology and learning technologies in meaningful, equity-centered ways. Drawing from my doctoral study on AT training in special education credential programs, I share findings, syllabi examples, and session materials that surface where programs fall short—and what stronger models look like. My goal is to offer practical tools and design ideas that help teacher educators, program leads, and coaches give preservice teachers the confidence and competence to support students who rely on technology.
